This year our strategic focus is building a Waihao Master Plan, the blueprint we will leave for future generations, having the choice and options our tupuna weren’t afforded as they fought to right the historical grievances and broken promises of The Crown.

We started with our audacious dreams for our wider takiwā, and in June we will focus our dreams to around our marae, Wainono and Waimate.

Our whānau have dreamed big, focusing on WHAT we want our mokopuna to have, and WHY we want them to have it. In August we will review the implementation plan and December we will have an approved Master Plan for the next 100 years. This is a living map of all the activity, influence and presence we want in our takiwā.

We strongly encourage you to come along to the June hui to share your dreams for the future of our Waihao mokopuna.
